Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for businesses, partnerships, individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and trusts.
• Prepare annual tax provisions and tax planning calculations for estimates and extensions.
• Research complex tax matters, summarize results, and propose resolutions.
• Monitor and communicate legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
• Supervise and train members of the tax team.
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships.
• Respond to client inquiries and taxing authorities.
• Perform other accounting and tax duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), CCH ProSystem FX, Axcess Tax, and Caseware.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and analyze problems logically and comprehensively.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients needs.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or a related major.
