Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

About the Job:
The position involves providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a clinical setting for 80% of the time and working in a school environment for the remaining 20%. The ideal candidate will have experience in both settings and a passion for helping patients and students achieve their highest potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities (80%):
Evaluate and assess patients' occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities.
Provide therapy sessions to patients with various conditions, including physical, developmental, and emotional disabilities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and enhance quality of life.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
School Responsibilities (20%):
Conduct assessments and evaluations of students referred for occupational therapy services.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other school staff.
Provide therapy sessions to students to address their educational and developmental needs.
Adapt school environments to improve students' functional performance.
Educate teachers, parents, and students on strategies to support students' learning and participation in school activities.
Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. New Grads are welcome so long license is in process.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Experience working in both clinical and school settings is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
Willing to undergo finger printing
