Description:
The Assistant Manager ensures that the day-to-day operations of the Trading Post meet the standards set by the Trading Post Manager. The Assistant Manager will work in the absence of and/or in coordination with the Trading Post Manager and Enterprise Administrator to resolve problems and emergencies as they pertain to personnel performance, employee scheduling, guest services, supervision, training, and discipline and any other job related duties as may be assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Customer service skills, ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are a must. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to handle multiple priorities is desired. Must have supervisory experience or skills, organization skills, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Prior retail experience desired. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel is an asset.
