Intern
The Intern gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings, delivering presentations, exploring business-specific tasks, and working closely with cross-functional groups to better understand the organization. Over the 10-week summer internship program, this job participates in a robust training and onboarding program followed by an ongoing speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and cohort engagement activities. This job may have the opportunity to work in the follow business areas: Technology, Asset Management, Financial Analysis/Accounting, Audit, Risk and Compliance, Human Resources and Advice and Client Relationships.
Key Responsibilities And Duties - Performs clerical duties such as taking memos, organizing documents, maintaining files, photocopying, faxing, etc. as needed
- Assists in preparing information and research materials, including Powerpoint presentations.
- Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.
- Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
- Attends company functions, including trainings programs, speaker series, lunch-and-learns and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.
- Shadows multiple office jobs and trains in a variety of tasks.
- Gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Summer Analysts will support business-specific and enterprise areas of ERM while working on an exciting mix of strategically-aligned challenging assignments and projects that help drive the achievement of the organization’s strategy and mission.
- Support Risk leadership in implementing and embedding the risk framework and processes for defining, assessing, measuring, monitoring and reporting risks in various business units and support areas while gaining risk management experience and expertise in the usage of the tools
- Help facilitate various business needs such as data analysis and risk report creation
- Assist in the collection of data that may pertain to specific market, business or competitive analyses
- Assist in the management of project plans (including project timelines, data requirements, specific steps)
Areas of focus: finance, economics, data analytics, law, business, regulatory affairs, risk management and insurance.
Compliance - Work on areas of diverse scope that assist with the continuing development of compliance functions, using the Company's risk-based Compliance Risk Management methodology.
- Understand the pertinent regulations impacting particular businesses by spending time in each area.
- Analyze compliance metrics and prepare summary reports
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Support the review of documents, materials, and artifacts for compliance with all applicable regulations
Areas of focus: finance, economics, data analytics, law, business, regulatory affairs, risk management and insurance.
Additional Requirements - Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Expected Graduation date between December 2026– June 2027
- Minimum GPA of 3.0

Anticipated Posting End Date 2024-10-14
Base Pay Range: $18.75/hr. - $27.40/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
