What To Expect
Supporting Tesla Energy Service group, the Tooling, Process & Training team is responsible for developing service and commissioning tooling hardware, service requirements and procedures, and training for Energy products and procedures. Tesla Energy’s storage and charging fleet is experiencing rapid growth, this skilled and motivated individual will help with the content creation, coordination, and delivery of the new hire training program, product advanced training and associated administrative support, and be a liaison with the field service team for closed loop learning. What You'll Do Effectively/enthusiastically deliver equipment-specific training to Field Technicians and Engineers in classroom and field settings using a variety of presentation formats including Instructor-Led, Facilitative group learning, active hands-on learning, and functional assessments Acquire and deliver training for a wide variety of safety and equipment learnings such as CPR, Fall Protection, NFPA-70E Electrical safety, and machinery equipment Support integration of EHS safety knowledge and materials into training content Develop high-quality, engaging technical content and lab exercises on a wide variety of applications (basic and advanced) in concert with process SMEs Provide comprehensive schedule management and tracking of learners’ completed and required training in the Tesla-specific Learning Management software system Work cross-functionally with the Training Systems and Development team to manage content storage and identify and track measures-of-success metrics Proactive to incorporate feedback to continuously enhance the training program
What You'll Bring Minimum 5 years of proven teaching experience Degree in Adult Education, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience leading training sessions for large classes of students on technical contentWell-versed with BESSa and EV charging fundamentals Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, and methods applicable to field service procedures Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders across program management, field support, customers, EHS, technical publications, service engineering, product design, etc. Experience with electrical, mechanical, production engineering drawings a plus

Expected Compensation
$60,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
