Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at our Company, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and supporting a highly scalable, distributed system that powers cloud automation and software operations. You'll work alongside talented engineers, collaborate with a global team, and contribute to open-source projects that impact millions of users.

What you'll do:

Own the design, implementation, and support of critical features
Collaborate effectively with a distributed team of engineers
Debug complex issues and engage with the open-source community
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth
Work remotely with occasional travel for team-building and industry events

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in Go programming and software development
Deep understanding of distributed systems and concurrency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for open-source software and a strong track record of contributions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-have skills:

Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Proficiency in C, C++, Rust, or other low-level languages
Strong networking and system administration skills
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Database experience (SQL, NoSQL)
Understanding of packaging systems (Debian, snaps)
Familiarity with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
