Job Summary: The Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security protocols and practices to ensure the safety and security of personnel, patients, visitors, and property within both the medical clinic and construction company environments. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, emergency preparedness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement security policies and procedures tailored to the medical clinic and construction sites.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Train security staff and clinic personnel on emergency response, safety protocols, and conflict resolution.
- Supervise security team members, ensuring compliance with policies and effective performance.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
- Monitor surveillance feeds and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct risk assessments for both the medical clinic and construction projects, identifying potential security threats and mitigation strategies.
- Develop emergency response plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters, threats to safety, and other emergencies.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and safety standards specific to construction and medical operations.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting security practices in both sectors.
- Work closely with clinic management, construction project managers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and security.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services to build relationships and improve response capabilities.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in healthcare and construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Trained and proficient in a descaltion program
Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in security management
- Experience with healthcare regulations and safety standards in construction.
