Role: SAP Application Security Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas(Hybrid-3days/week)

Essential Responsibilities:

As part of the ERP SAP Application Security Team, the position will be responsible for:

Recommend and develop security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification, loss and eliminate backdoor access vulnerabilities.
Audit control operation and checks to monitor and adhere to audit controls (Ex. SOX, GPDR, SOD)
Designing, and implementing robust SAP Security frameworks, ensuring data integrity and compliance of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori Apps, ECC6.0, GRC 12, SAP BTP Cloud services, SAP IAG/IAS, SAP Analytics Cloud
Develop secure and intuitive interfaces using SAP Fiori, enhancing the user experience while maintaining stringent measures to protect sensitive data.
Implement cloud security solutions on SAP Business Technology platform including identity and access management, ensuring cloud-based applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
Responsible for integrating IAS and IAG solutions, providing a seamless and secure user authentication experience and robust access governance across SAP landscape.
Secure Business Intelligence/Data sphere systems ensuring that data analytics and reporting are conducted within a security framework, protecting data from unauthorized access.
Implement GRC solutions with BTP which include user SOD risk assessments, Privilege access management, and SAP Access request management.
Extend expertise to integrate and secure Service now and share point platforms, ensuing tools are leveraged efficiently for project management and collaboration while maintaining compliance with security policies.
Provide solutions to new enhancements, upgrades, and projects with the latest designs and tools.
Prepare functional and technical specifications for SAP customizations to implement the security, define and document SAP Security standards, and operational and administrative processes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Minimum of 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining SAP security concepts and strategies (role design, profile generation, authorization objects, etc.) and operational administration (PFCG role maintenance)
Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Security and Risk Management
Functional knowledge of SAP ECC, BOBJ, HANA, HR, XI, CRM, SRM, SCM, Gateway, Portal, Solution Manager, BTP/CPI, GTS, and other SAP technologies
General knowledge of S/4 Hana and/or Fiori and GRC modules and the critical access requirements
Experience with integration (Inbound and Outbound) between SAP and external applications, analyzing the sensitivity of data flows
Experience with handling compliance and audit inquiries, executing control checks, and proactive monitoring
Excellent MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to a strict deadlines.
