Job Description

Summary: OF THE ROLE

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer at Finalsite is a hybrid role that requires a strong understanding of both Salesforce administration and development, with a primary focus on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the Salesforce platform, and a secondary focus on developing custom solutions to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage configurations, and implement technical customizations to ensure our Salesforce environment meets the evolving needs of our organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform
  • Collaborate with other Salesforce Administrators to scope, build, and automate technology solutions that align with business goals.
  • Maintain existing and develop new functionality that supports scalable processes within existing (and future-state) Sales and Marketing tech stack.
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure proper data access and compliance.
  • Perform data management tasks, including data import, export, and cleansing.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for system optimization.
  • Create and modify workflows, process automation, approval processes, and validation rules.
  • Develop Flows, Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages/Lightning pages to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  • Design and develop custom objects, fields, and record types.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and external data sources using APIs.
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code with a keen eye on continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, and release management.
  • Implement coding best practices to ensure optimal system performance and data quality
  • Write / maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Complete unit and system testing and debugging
  • Support of post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process/technical documentation, and application bug fixes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to end users on Salesforce features and functionalities.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform releases and ensure the organization is leveraging the latest features.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • A Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a relevant role for a SaaS organization with a proven record of success.
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration concepts
  • Salesforce Certified in at least one of the following: Certified Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer, Salesforce Certified User Experience Designer
  • Active in the Salesforce community
  • Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP-based web services preferred
  • Experience working with integrated applications such as Conga Composer, DocuSign, Hubspot, Totango, Gearset, Panaya Foresight, Celigo, Ironclad preferred
  • A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance administrative and technical responsibilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business terms.
  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and quality conscious.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to stay focused and attuned to their research questions, and deliver final projects in a timely manner.
