Starting Pay Rate: $19.73/hour
General Description: The Receiving & Distribution Coordinator performs a variety of tasks, requiring knowledge of receiving and distribution of inventory and equipment management, to support effective and efficient operations of the Agency's Financial Services Division.
Essential Functions: - Manages the timely receipt, storage and distribution of equipment, supplies, uniforms, and other agency issued items for all sworn law enforcement and non-sworn personnel
- Monitors inventory levels of all items and collaborates with Purchasing Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Receives, verifies, and maintains quality control of all incoming shipments
- Maintains tracking spreadsheets of all delivered shipments
- Responsible for general knowledge, education and management of all equipment issued to employees, to include specialized lifesaving equipment and all items that hold expiration dates issued from the Employee Distribution Center (EDC)
- Effectively learns and maintains our agency inventory software database
- Responsible for public speaking during Citizen's Academy and the education of equipment to new and current employees during inventory issuance
- Assists employees entering the EDC for distribution and ordering of supplies
- Serves as back up to Purchasing Coordinator, aiding in the procurement process
- Routine office tasks including, data entry, answering phones and filing as needed
- All CCSO employees are considered ‘essential workers' and are subject to working in any capacity/hours deemed necessary by the Agency during activations, including but not limited to, in-County and out-of-County deployments.

- Ability to problem solve efficiently within time sensitive deadlines
- Demonstrated skill in providing a high level of service to, and effective relationship-building with multiple internal and external constituencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Proficiency in use of common desktop/web applications
Education, Experience, and Qualifications: - High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent certification of competency required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- One year of experience, within a logistics or supply division, of distribution, purchasing and/or inventory control job tasks or related experience in business operations preferred
- Working knowledge of inventory software databases preferred
Physical Demands: - Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb or stand for extended periods of time often
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds often.
- Ability to drive agency or own motor vehicle as needed.
- Repetitive hand movement using a computer keyboard
- Acute hearing, near and far vision require
Requirements: - Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
