Position Overview:
As a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in preparing medications for patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and dedication to patient care will contribute to the exceptional outcomes we strive to achieve every day.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in the fulfillment of prescriptions
Ensure adequate inventory levels and communicate any concerns related to medication delivery
Handle tasks such as receiving products, tracking lot numbers, counting medications, and coordinating shipments
Maintain organized medication storage on designated shelves
Prepare supply kits for specific patient programs
Collaborate with the RxARECARE and Core Specialty teams to ensure smooth workflow
Contribute to additional projects and tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) licensure
2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
1-3 years of specialty pharmacy experience
Work Environment:
You will work in a bright, well-organized mail order pharmacy environment. The role requires routine use of pharmaceutical equipment and safety supplies.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 20 pounds
Comfortable using a computer and barcode scanner
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, eye protection, and face masks as required. We will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
