We are a small but growing weight loss clinic in the Phoenix, AZ area. We are using GLP-1 medications to help patients achieve their weight loss goals.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this remote role, you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience and the smooth operation of our clinic.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Answering phone calls:** Respond to incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and triaging calls as needed.
* **Returning calls to leads:** Contact potential patients who have expressed interest in our services, providing information about our clinic and scheduling consultations. This will involve a lot of education. Sales skills (or willingness to learn them) are helpful.
* **Scheduling appointments:** Manage patient schedules efficiently, coordinating appointments with providers and ensuring optimal clinic flow.
* **Responding to patient questions:** Answer questions about GLP-1 medications, treatment protocols, insurance coverage, and other clinic-related inquiries.
* **Providing administrative support:** Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, billing, processing paperwork, and managing patient records.
* **Maintaining patient confidentiality:** Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
* **Other duties as assigned:** Perform other tasks as needed to support the clinic's operations and ensure a positive patient experience.

**Qualifications:**

* **Healthcare experience:** Registered Nurse (RN) or significant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
* **Excellent communication skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills with high proficiency in English.
* **Outgoing and confident personality:** Ability to build rapport with patients and provide empathetic, supportive communication.
* **Independent worker:** Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
* **Strong phone skills:** Experience handling a high volume of phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
* **Computer proficiency:** Comfortable using computers and various software applications, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.

**Other**

* Spanish language skills helpful but not required.
* Must be willing to work during clinic hours (Mountain time)
* Pay starting around $5 but can increase. Bonus/incentives negotiable.
