Are you passionate about dance and teaching? Do you have a love for working with children and helping them grow? Ensemble Schools is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dance Instructor to join our team at Music & Dance Academy starting in the new year.

Position: Dance Instructor
Location: Music & Dance Academy
Schedule: Thursday afternoons/evenings (exact times to be confirmed)
Ages: 3 to 11 years old
Classes: Ballet & Jazz
Start Date: January 2024

Responsibilities:

• Teach ballet and jazz classes to children ages 3 to 9 in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
• Create and implement lesson plans that encourage creativity, confidence, and a love for dance.
• Provide a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
• Foster good classroom behavior and maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students about progress and goals.
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching and working with young children.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience teaching dance to children, especially in ballet and jazz.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to keep children engaged and motivated.
• A love for working with kids and helping them grow in both dance and confidence.
• Creative, energetic, and patient.
• Strong communication skills with both kids and adults.
• Dance certifications and/or professional dance experience are a plus.
