Job Description

he Injection Mold Technician is responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of the injection molding processes and related equipment. The technician will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made to the equipment so that the processes run efficiently.

• Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process, including, but not limited to, set-up and tear-down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and workflow.
• Working with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements and are produced in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met. 
• Generating documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.
• Providing molded components in a timely manner in order to ensure production.
• Ensures all manufacturing safety standards are always followed.
• All job accountabilities and goals are subject to change with the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in injection molding or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. 
• Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
