We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aJunior VOIP Engineer to join a leading Company located in theWashington, DC surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $32.00- $34.00

**Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.**

Job Responsibilities:  

• Performs administration of voice handsets and devices, enrolling, activating, and managing devices used to provide voice services.
• Perform moves, adds, changes, and disconnects daily. Troubleshoot any issues.
• provides overall network engineering support for a broad range of programs. 
• Mayinclude planning, designing, and evaluating various components of network. 
• May evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities. 
• Manage daily operations and assist information managers on a daily basis with all matters related to local and wide areanetworks within the spanof control. 
• Provide diagnostic support using network analysis tools. 
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and processes to meet goals outlines. 
• Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives. 
• Works on tasks where analysis of data requires an evaluation of various factors. 
• Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques andcriteria for obtaining results. Ensures project schedules and performance requirements are met.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility.
• Experience with CS2100/ VoIP programming.
• Experience with Service Now.
• Identifying and escalating high-priority issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
• Ensuring that service level agreements are met by monitoring queue performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Distributing tasks evenly among team members based on their availability and skillset to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinating customer inquiries across various channels, ensuring timely responses.

Desired Qualifications:

• NetPlus database knowledge.
