Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead their Academics Department in Deer Valley, AZ. As the Head of Academics, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Ground School, PACE, and the Learning Center, ensuring top-notch educational standards for students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement key strategies to enhance the standardization, quality, and productivity of the Academics Department
• Collaborate with the Chief Ground Instructor and Chief Flight Instructor to develop and revise course content and curriculum
• Ensure all classes are staffed with qualified instructors meeting regulatory standards
• Lead the development and maintenance of curriculum and testing standards
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Current CFI/CFII/MEI or AGI/IGI Certificate preferred
• Practical leadership experience
• Operational knowledge of flight school operations is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to flight simulators and equipment
• Must be detail-oriented, innovative, and able to work independently
