Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing, Postmark and Sonoma-Cutrer.

The CA Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by effectively communicating our brand value proposition, cultivating relationships with customers, and maximizing sales opportunities. This role requires a passion for wine, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives within the California distribution network.
•  Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, and key stakeholders to drive sales and distribution of the Duckhorn Wine Company's portfolio in California.
•  Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to identify customer needs, prospect and qualify leads, and promote our wines effectively.
•  Collaborate closely with the sales team to coordinate promotional activities, tastings, and events to increase brand awareness and drive sales volume.
•  Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
•  Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage accounts, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
•  Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make informed recommendations and adjustments to sales strategies.
•  Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
•  Ensure that all transactions and customer interactions adhere to local and federal alcohol beverage regulations and company compliance standards.

What you will need:
•  3 plus years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably wine.
•  Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
•  Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
•  Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
•  Ability to engage and persuade effectively.
•  Strong communication skills, both written and oral
•  Strong math and computer skills
