Position Overview :
Seeking a talented and motivated Insurance Defense/Civil Litigation Attorney with experience in any of the following areas:
- Construction
- Trucking
- Insurance Coverage
- Premises & Products Liability
- Casualty
As a key member of the team, you will handle a variety of complex litigation matters, working closely with clients to provide top-tier legal services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in these practice areas, along with strong analytical and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, from initial investigation through trial and appeal
- Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment
- Conduct discovery, including depositions and expert witness preparation
- Provide legal analysis and strategy recommendations to clients
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and support staff
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the GA Bar
- 3+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
- Strong experience in one or more of the specified practice areas
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service
